Founded in 1976 by Mitch Khoshaba, Spie Tool began as a small, family-owned business focused on craftsmanship and innovation. After Mitch’s passing in 1980, his wife Mabel and their children — David, Dorothy, and Daniel — continued to expand the company’s capabilities and reputation for excellence. By 1988, Spie Tool had grown to over 20 employees, earning vendor awards for quality from major companies like Caterpillar, General Electric, and Ford Motor Company.

 

In 2025, David proudly transitioned ownership to Mike Lewinski and Raymond Trausch, two veteran machinists with a combined 33 years of industry experience. Their hands-on expertise ensures that Spie Tool maintains full operational continuity, process control, and the high standards of precision manufacturing that the aerospace and heavy equipment industries demand.
